Last night, Cllr Joan Millbank spoke at the 170 Community Centre AGM praising the work of the centre on New Cross Road. Joan served on the management committee in the 1980s and was it's chair.
Cllr Millbank said, "The 170 Community Centre is a fantastic example of how a community based organisation involving local residents can make sure a huge difference to the local community. The volunteers work tirelessly for this area and I would like to thank them for all their hard work and commitment."
