Some rumours are circulating about "Stay & Play" in Telegraph Hill Park. Just to clarify, there is a review being undertaken by the Children & Young People Directorate, but it is not closing at this time. Nothing will now happen until the next financial year, 2012/13. Telegraph Hill councillors are working hard to make sure it stays open.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours per week provision, whoever provides it, (unless the new government changes it). Lewisham Council may have to target resources to the less well off families, but as I said nothing has been decided.
